On HelperGen, Service Providers are responsible for managing their own taxes. If applicable, they will add taxes (GST/HST/PST) to their service fees when they apply for the job, according to the province.
The price you see in the Digital Agreement before you hire will include any taxes the provider has applied.
For Fixed-Price Jobs: This total is the final amount that will be securely held for the job.
For Hourly Jobs: Please note that this total is an estimate based on the provider's rate and the estimated hours. The final payment will be recalculated after the service is complete based on the actual hours worked.
