Gen Points are the credits you use to apply for jobs on HelperGen. Think of them as your key to accessing valuable job opportunities.
How They Work (The "Reserve and Deduct" System):
When You Apply: The required Gen Points for a job are "Reserved" from your balance. They are held, not spent.
If You Get Hired: Once you and the Job Poster sign the agreement, the reserved points are permanently deducted.
If You Don't Get Hired: If someone else is hired or the job is cancelled, the reserved points are fully returned to your account.
This fair system ensures you only use points for jobs you actually win.
How to Get Gen Points:
All new providers receive a free welcome bonus of Gen Points. You can purchase more at a discount in the "Bundles & Gen Points" section of your dashboard.
