Gen AI drafting and refinement use no Gen Points. Publishing public jobs is free. Optional private jobs use Gen Points when available.

Use Gen Points to access valuable job leads.
As a Service Provider, it's free to build your profile and browse jobs. You use Gen Points to apply for valuable job leads and grow your business.
Payments & Fees
Paying for Your Service:
You pay your chosen provider the agreed-upon amount (in CAD) securely through our platform. We hold the funds until the job is done to ensure everyone is protected.
Your Earnings & Our Platform Fee
We only make money when you do. We charge a standard 13% platform fee, plus the estimated Stripe processing fee and applicable tax, from the final payment on completed jobs.
Example: On a $100 job, the platform fee is $13 and the estimated Stripe processing fee is $3.20. Applicable tax is calculated on their combined $16.20 total. At 12% tax, the total fee is $18.14, so you receive $81.86.

Are there any monthly fees or subscriptions?
No. It is completely free to sign up. You only pay for the Gen Point bundles you choose to buy or the services you agree to as a Job Poster.
Is my payment information secure?
Yes. All payments are processed using Stripe, a world leader in secure online payments. HelperGen does not store your full credit card details.
What do the provider fees cover?
The 13% platform fee funds platform improvements, expert customer support, and marketing that brings providers more opportunities. Stripe's estimated 2.9% + $0.30 processing fee is shown separately, and applicable tax is calculated on both fee components.
Do I have to buy Gen Points to use HelperGen?
Job posters do not need Gen Points to draft or refine jobs with Gen AI, or publish public jobs. Optional private jobs have a separate Gen Point fee when available. Providers use Gen Points for job leads and optional premium features.
