If you work for yourself or run a small team, you probably already have a business name, and maybe a logo on your van, your invoices, or your business card. HelperGen lets you bring that brand into your profile with business mode, and it is free. Clients see more than a name: they see a business they can recognize and remember.
What You Get
When you turn on business mode, your business name and logo appear as a business badge on your profile and on your applications. Your personal name stays as the title, so clients still know who they are working with, and the business badge sits alongside your trust badges. Clients can tap the badge to see your logo and name at full size.
How to Set It Up
- Open the Business section of your provider profile and tap Edit.
- Switch on Business mode. Go to your Business settings.
- Enter your business name. It is required to turn business mode on.
- Upload your logo (optional). JPG, PNG or HEIC, up to 8 MB.
- Check the preview of your business badge, then save.
You will also see an optional question, "How do you work?", where you can say whether it is side income, self-employed, or a small business with a team. It is optional, and it helps HelperGen improve the platform for people who work like you.
Be Clear With Clients
The business badge is self-declared. When a client taps it, they see an Important Notice that you added the business name and logo yourself and that HelperGen has not verified the business, its registration or its ownership. That is why your verification badges matter too. A Payment Verified badge means you have completed Stripe account setup, including required identity verification, and a CRC Verified badge shows you have completed a Certn criminal record check. Together, they give clients both the brand and the trust signals.
Make the Brand Work Everywhere
- Pair it with your business card. Your free HelperGen profile doubles as a business card with its own QR code. Open your Business Card tool and hand it out after every job.
- Show your work. A logo plus before-and-after photos tells clients you take pride in your work. Portfolio Showcase lets you try it with your first 4 images free.
- Keep your details current. You can replace or remove your logo, or switch business mode off, whenever you like.
