Understanding the Provider Strike System

To maintain a reliable and professional community, HelperGen uses a strike system. This system is designed to be a fair and transparent way to track accountability for all providers.

The Most Important Rule: Gen Points are Final

Once a Job Poster hires you and the Digital Agreement is signed, the Gen Points you used to apply for that job are permanently deducted. They will not be refunded for any reason, including a mutual cancellation. This is because the points were successfully used to win you the job.

How You Receive a Strike

A strike is given when you, the Service Provider, cancel a confirmed job without the mutual agreement of the Job Poster.

The consequences depend on the timing of the cancellation:

The "Mutual Agreement" Exception (How to Avoid Penalties)

We understand that plans can change. If you and the Job Poster both agree to cancel, the penalties (strike and badge) will be waived. To ensure this is processed correctly, the cancellation must be mutually agreed upon through the HelperGen platform.

Accumulating Strikes and Account Status

Your strike count is a key factor in your account's standing.

How to Track Your Strikes

Strikes are not visible to the public. You can monitor your current strike count at any time by visiting the "Provider Strikes" section within your profile settings.
