Managing Your Jobs

Viewing All Your Jobs

The My Jobs page (found under the Jobs menu) shows every job you have ever posted — past and present. Jobs are listed with their title, service category, status, scheduled date, and the provider hired (if any). The page defaults to showing your most recent jobs first.

Job Status Explained

Each job displays one of these statuses:

You can filter the job list by status using the tabs at the top of the page.

Filtering and Searching

Use the filter bar to narrow down your job list:

Filters can be combined — for example, show all Completed Cleaning jobs from this month.

Editing a Job

To edit a job that has not yet been accepted:

  1. Click the job card to open it
  2. Click Edit Job (top right of the job detail page)
  3. Modify any field — title, description, schedule, budget, photos
  4. Click Save Changes

You cannot edit a job once a provider has been accepted. If you need to make changes after hiring, message the provider directly through the platform's messaging system. Note: Editing the budget of an Active job may trigger a different Gen Points cost if it crosses a pricing tier.

Duplicating a Job

If you regularly post the same type of job (e.g., weekly cleaning), use the Duplicate feature to save time:

  1. Open any past or current job
  2. Click the (more options) menu
  3. Select Duplicate Job
  4. A new draft is created with the same details
  5. Update the date, time, or any other fields as needed
  6. Click Publish

Duplicating creates a fresh draft — your Gen Points are charged when you publish the new job, not when you duplicate.

Cancelling a Job

To cancel a job:

  1. Open the job from My Jobs
  2. Click the menu → Cancel Job
  3. Select a cancellation reason from the dropdown
  4. Confirm the cancellation

Important: If a provider has already been accepted, cancelling may affect your cancellation rating. Gen Points used to post the job are not refunded. If the provider has already started work, you should initiate a Mutual Cancellation request through the job detail page instead of cancelling unilaterally.
