What Are Gen Points Bundles?
Gen Points are HelperGen's credits used to post jobs and access certain premium features. Bundles are packages of Gen Points you purchase in advance. Buying in bulk is more economical than paying per job, and your Gen Points never expire — use them at your own pace.
Available Bundle Options
HelperGen offers four preset bundles at different price points:

Larger bundles offer significantly better value per point. The same bundles are available to both job posters and service providers.
How to Purchase a Bundle
To buy Gen Points:
- Go to Gen Points → Buy Bundles (or click Buy More on your dashboard balance widget)
- Select a preset bundle or choose Custom and enter an amount
- Review the total
- Select or add a payment method (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)
- Click Purchase
- Gen Points are added to your balance immediately after payment
You receive an email receipt for every bundle purchase.
Payment Methods Accepted
HelperGen accepts the following payment methods for bundle purchases:
- Visa (credit and debit)
- Mastercard (credit and debit)
- American Express
All payments are processed securely through Stripe. Your card details are stored by Stripe and never saved on HelperGen's servers. You can add multiple payment methods and select which one to use at checkout.
Your Gen Points Balance
Your current Gen Points balance is shown:
- On your dashboard (top summary cards)
- On the Bundles page (current balance widget)
- When you click Publish on a new job (shown before confirming)
If your balance falls below the cost of your next job, you will see a low-balance warning before publishing. You can top up your balance at any time without losing your draft job.
When Are Gen Points Deducted
Gen Points are deducted from your balance when you publish a job (not when you create a draft). The cost depends on your maximum budget:

Gen Points used to post a job are not refunded if the job is cancelled or no provider is hired. However, you earn back 5 Gen Points when any job you posted is completed.
