What Are Gen Points Bundles?

Gen Points are HelperGen's credits for optional and premium features. Bundles are packages of Gen Points you purchase in advance. Larger bundles give better value per point, and your Gen Points never expire — use them at your own pace.
Available Bundle Options

HelperGen offers four preset bundles at different price points:

Larger bundles offer significantly better value per point. The same bundles are available to both job posters and service providers.
How to Purchase a Bundle

To buy Gen Points:
- Go to Gen Points → Buy Bundles (or click Buy More on your dashboard balance widget)
- Select a preset bundle or choose Custom and enter an amount
- Review the total
- Select or add a payment method (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)
- Click Purchase
- Gen Points are added to your balance immediately after payment
You receive an email receipt for every bundle purchase.
Payment Methods Accepted

HelperGen accepts the following payment methods for bundle purchases:
- Visa (credit and debit)
- Mastercard (credit and debit)
- American Express
All payments are processed securely through Stripe. Your card details are stored by Stripe and never saved on HelperGen's servers. You can add multiple payment methods and select which one to use at checkout.
Your Gen Points Balance

Your current Gen Points balance is shown:
- On your dashboard (top summary cards)
- On the Bundles page (current balance widget)
Job posters do not need Gen Points to publish a public job or use Gen. Private Jobs, when available, require the fee shown on screen: if your balance is too low, add points or publish publicly instead.
When Are Gen Points Deducted

Job posters do not spend Gen Points to post a public job or to use Gen. Private Jobs, when available, cost the displayed fee on each private publication and each switch from public to private. Gen Points are only deducted when you choose an optional feature, and points spent are not refunded. You earn 5 Gen Points when any job you posted is completed.
Service providers use Gen Points when applying for jobs (reserved when you apply and deducted once both parties sign the agreement) and for premium profile features.
