About HelperGen
HelperGen is a Canadian marketplace that connects people who need help with home and personal services to skilled, vetted service providers. The platform handles everything from job posting and provider discovery to secure payment and dispute resolution — so both sides of the transaction can focus on the work, not the paperwork.
How It Works
For job posters: Create a job (with AI assistance or manually), receive applications from providers, hire the right fit, and pay securely through the platform. You only pay after the job is complete.
For service providers: Build a profile, list your services and rates, apply for jobs that match your skills, and receive automatic payouts to your bank account via Stripe Connect.
Who Is It For?
HelperGen serves two types of users:
Job Posters — Anyone who needs home or personal services: cleaning, handyman work, caregiving, gardening, moving assistance, and more. Job posters can also invite family members to help manage their jobs.
Service Providers — Independent professionals and self-employed workers who offer services in one or more categories. Providers set their own rates, accept the jobs they want, and build their reputation through ratings and verified credentials.
