Your Purchase History
The Bundle Purchase History page shows every Gen Points bundle you have bought on HelperGen, listed in reverse chronological order. Each entry shows:
- Purchase date and time
- Bundle size (Gen Points purchased)
- Amount paid (CAD)
- Payment method (last 4 digits)
- Transaction status
Understanding Bundle Transactions
Each bundle transaction has one of these statuses:
- Completed: Payment was successful and Gen Points were added to your balance
- Pending: Payment is processing (rare — usually resolves within minutes)
- Failed: Payment was declined — Gen Points were not added; try a different card
- Refunded: The purchase was reversed and Gen Points removed from your balance
If a transaction shows Failed, your card was not charged. Try again with a different card or contact your bank.
Receipts and Invoices
To download a receipt for any bundle purchase:
- Open Bundle Purchase History
- Click on the transaction you want a receipt for
- Click Download Receipt (PDF)
Receipts include the purchase date, amount, Gen Points received, tax breakdown (if applicable), and your billing address. They are available immediately after purchase and stored indefinitely. If you need a formal invoice for business expense reimbursement, contact [email protected] with the transaction ID.
Refund Policy
Gen Points bundles are generally non-refundable once purchased, as Gen Points are a digital credit that can be used immediately. Exceptions may be considered in cases of:
- Duplicate purchase: You accidentally bought the same bundle twice within a few minutes
- Technical error: A platform error resulted in Gen Points not being credited despite payment
- Account closure: If you close your account within 30 days of purchase with unused Gen Points remaining
For refund requests, email [email protected] with your transaction ID and the reason for your request. Refund decisions are made case-by-case.
